What counts as a lash extension accessory?

Accessories are the consumables and small equipment that sit around the lash tray: the cup that holds adhesive, the pallet it is dispensed onto, the ring that keeps cups within reach, the tape that isolates lower lashes, the box a tray lives in and the mirror a client holds. They are used on every appointment, and most are consumable - which is why artists reorder them far more often than they reorder a lash tray.

Accessories artists reorder most often

Frequently asked questions

Are lash accessories compatible with every adhesive bottle?

Bottle necks differ between brands, so match the accessory to the bottle you use. Glue rings and cups accept a drop of adhesive rather than the bottle itself, which is why they work with most adhesives. Measure or check the product page before ordering a holder that clips onto a specific bottle.

How many glue cups or pallets should I keep in stock?

Cups and dot stickers are used once per client in most routines. Working out your weekly client count and ordering in packs of 100 is usually the simplest way to avoid running short mid-week.

Do I need both tape and eye pads?

They do different jobs. Tape isolates the lower lashes and holds them down, while eye pads sit under the eye and separate the lower lashes from the working area. Many artists use both in the same appointment.

Can accessories be reused between clients?

Reusable items such as trays, pallets and storage boxes can be cleaned and disinfected. Disposable items - cups, stickers, dot tape, isolation tape and pads - should be treated as single-use consumables.
