Lash glue remover is the product used to break the adhesive bond during a removal. This collection lists the Winky Beauty strawberry remover cream in a 20g format. Read the product page and its directions before use.

What does lash glue remover do?

Removers are formulated to soften cyanoacrylate adhesive so the extension can be slid away from the natural lash instead of pulled. Used correctly on a small area at a time, a cream remover gives the artist control over where the product sits and how much the client's eye area is exposed to it.

Remover, primer and bonder are three different steps

Product Stage Purpose
Lash primer Before application Prepares the natural lash so adhesive attaches consistently
Lash glue During application Bonds the extension to the natural lash
Super bonder After application Finishing step per product directions
Remover End of the set's life Dissolves the bond so the set can be taken down

How to use cream remover safely

  • Work in a well-ventilated area and keep the product away from the client's skin and eye surface.
  • Apply to the adhesive area with a micro brush, never the whole lash line at once, and keep the client's eye closed.
  • Give the cream a moment to soften the bond, then remove with tweezers.
  • Clean the lash line afterwards with lash shampoo or foam cleanser.
  • Dispose of used gel pads and micro brushes after the appointment.

Common mistakes during a removal

  • Applying remover to the whole lash line at once. The client cannot keep the product away from the eye reliably, and you lose the ability to check each lash.
  • Pulling before the bond has softened. If an extension resists, add a little more product and wait rather than increasing pressure.
  • Skipping the cleanse afterwards. Remover residue left on the lash line affects the next set, so finish with lash shampoo.
  • Reusing a micro brush across several clients. These are single-use items and should be treated that way.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between cream remover and gel remover?

Cream removers stay where they are placed and are easier to control on small areas; gel removers spread more freely. Many artists keep a cream for precise work.

Can I use remover to fix a small section of a set?

Yes. Spot removal to correct a direction or a lifted fan is common. Apply remover only to the affected lashes and keep the surrounding bond dry.

Is remover safe for sensitive clients?

Patch-test and follow the product directions, and keep the eye closed throughout. If a client has reacted to adhesive before, treat removal as a patch-test situation as well.

How long does a removal take?

Most full removals take a short appointment of their own; the time depends on the adhesive used and how much product is applied. Work in sections rather than rushing the whole set.
