What Are Easy Fan Lashes?

Easy fan lashes are volume lash trays whose fibers are held together with a light gel bond at the base. When you pick up a fan with your tweezers and squeeze, the fibers bloom into an even, ready-made volume fan on the tip of the tweezer - no hand-spinning required. Because the fan forms itself, easy fan lashes sit halfway between hand-made volume fans and premade lash fans: you still control the spread and the placement, but the hardest part of volume lashing is already done.

For lash artists, that means shorter set times and more consistent fans across the whole eye. For everyday wearers doing DIY sets, it means volume looks are achievable without months of fan-making practice.

Easy Fan Lashes vs. Premade Fans vs. Hand-Made Fans

Easy fan lashes Premade fans Hand-made fans
How the fan forms Squeezed open at the tweezer tip, then placed Arrives pre-fanned and glued at the base Rolled and shaped fiber by fiber
Speed Fast - a few seconds per fan Fastest - pick and place Slowest - requires practice
Attachment weight Light; no extra glue at the base Base is pre-glued, slightly heavier Lightest, fully custom
Best for Artists and advanced DIY users who want volume speed Fast volume sets and consistent shape Purists who want full control of spread

Choosing Your Diameter: 0.03, 0.05 or 0.07mm

  • 0.03mm - the finest diameter in the range. Best for mega volume and for building big, airy fans on fine natural lashes without adding weight.
  • 0.05mm - the volume all-rounder. Enough body to hold a fan shape, light enough to build 5D-10D sets safely on most clients.
  • 0.07mm - the fullest of the easy fans here. Makes compact, dark fans that read as a classic volume set with less fanning effort; ideal for 3D-5D work.

If you are unsure, start at 0.05mm: it behaves well in both sparse, wispy mappings and denser volume sets, which is why it is the diameter most volume artists keep restocked.

How to Use Easy Fan Lashes

  1. Pick up the bundle. Grip a bundle of easy fan fibers near the base with fine volume tweezers.
  2. Squeeze to bloom. Apply gentle pressure - the gel-bonded base releases and the fibers spread into a fan. Squeeze harder for a wider fan.
  3. Dip and place. Dip the base in lash extension adhesive and place the fan onto an isolated natural lash (or onto your DIY cluster base if you are doing a hybrid set).
  4. Repeat and check. Work from the outer corner inward for the most even density, and step back between rows to keep the mapping symmetrical.

FAQ

Do easy fan lashes count as premade fans?
They are close, but not identical. Easy fans form as you squeeze, so the base stays glue-free and light. Premade fans arrive glued and simply get picked up and placed.

Can beginners use easy fan lashes?
Yes - they are the friendliest entry into volume. You need steady tweezer control, but there is no fan-making technique to learn first.

What glue works with easy fans?
Any professional lash extension adhesive works. Use a fast-set glue for salon application and a slower, gentler bond for at-home practice sets.

How many fans are in a tray?
Each 16-row tray yields hundreds of fans depending on how many fibers you pick per fan, so one tray typically covers 15-25 full volume sets.

Browse the trays: 0.03mm easy fan lashes, 0.05mm easy fan lashes and 0.07mm easy fan lashes. Pair them with our professional lash tweezers and lash adhesives, or mix single fibers into a DIY cluster set for hybrid texture.
